Incisions are made inside your lower lip or hidden below your chin. A small pocket is then created and the implant is placed and secured in position. You will be administered general anesthesia during the procedure to minimize any discomfort.
Patients usually will recover within a few days after the procedure. Bruising and swelling are not uncommon and you may have some discomfort with certain facial movements for a short period.
